TRWA Seeks Volunteers For Brockton River Cleanup

BROCKTON--The Taunton River Watershed Alliance and State Street Bank will host a Taunton River tributary cleanup in Brockton Tuesday, June 12 from 1:30 to 5 p.m.
Volunteers are needed to remove debris from the riverbeds and help identify sources of pollution in the area.
Gloves and trash bags will be provided and there will be members of the TRWA and the Brockton Conservation Commission on hand to assist and provide information about these headwaters of the watershed and how to protect them.
Meeting place: parking lot behind Brockton Public Library,304 Main St., Brockton.
Detailed information will be sent prior to the event and volunteers are welcome to gather after the clean-up for snacks and networking.
