Happy Patriots Day!!

CONCORD--Thousands of men, women and children celebrated "the shot heard 'round the world," during weekend activities at Minuteman National Park marking the 237th anniversary of American Colonials firing on the British Army in the first battles of the American Revolution.
Here are a few pics from the presentation and demonstration of the skirmish at North Bridge in Concord, when after the first shot at Lexington on April 19, 1775, about 400 Americans fired on about 95 British soldiers who were attempting to take the bridge.
It was the second battle of the American Revolution. Hundreds gathered at the North Bridge to hear a presentation and watch demonstrations of British and Colonial firing drills Monday as part of numerous events remembering the opening of the American Revolution.
The demonstrations and presentations were followed by the annual parade from the Minuteman Monument to Concord Center.
