African Arts Takes Center Stage Saturday At Arnone

BROCKTON--The Arnone Elementary School will host the 14th annual African Arts Festival and Marketplace Saturday, Feb 25 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
There will be soul food, afro-carribean cuisine, live performances, storytelling, singing, and African drumming and dancing.
There will also be several films and a lecture focusing on blacks in films. Parts of the films may be graphic in nature and are geared toward teenagers and adults.
Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for under 12 and seniors.
The event is initiated by Indaba Theatre of New England, a Brockton based non-profit group whose mission is to inspire and uplift inner city youth.
All are welcome to attend.
