The Brockton PostBROCKTON--The former president of the Brockton Chapter of the Outlaws Motorcycle Club has been sentenced to more than 21 years in federal prison after the biker leader was sentenced in U.S. District Court in Boston last Friday.
The United States Attorney's Office announced Friday Judge Richard G. Stearns sentenced former Outlaws Motorcycle Club head Timothy Silvia, 44, of Brockton to 21 1/2 years in prison and his co-defendant Todd Donofrio, 39, of Stoughton to 10 years in prison.
The two were arrested in July 2007 along with 13 other Outlaw members after a two-year undercover investigation by the FBI nicknamed Operation Roadkill that infiltrated the motorcycle gang's inner structure and ended in a raid of the Taunton clubhouse.
The taskforce included State Police and Brockton and Taunton Police.

Silvia pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute more than five kilograms of cocaine. The more than 21 year sentence also carries 5 years of supervision upon release. Co-defendant Donofrio was sentenced to 10 years in prison and 5 years of supervised release.
Silvia, U.S. Attorney's Office officials said, is a past president of the club and Donofrio was a close associate.
The Outlaws, noted rivals of the Hell's Angels, have 90 chapters worldwide, including Brockton, Taunton and East Boston.
